Knight of the Lake: Lancelot
The spotlight of this update shines on Lancelot, a Radiance attribute frontline knight with a gripping backstory.
Once the princess of the fallen Benoic Kingdom, Lancelot’s life was upended when the tyrannical Emperor of the Igrit Empire invaded her homeland. After fleeing to Britannia with her mother, Elaine, they were saved by the fairy Vivian and taken to Avalon.
📜 Lore & Background
Lancelot, the princess of the Benoic Kingdom, lived a peaceful life—until the Emperor of the Igrit Empire demanded her as a concubine. Her father refused, unwilling to hand his daughter over to a sadistic tyrant infamous for murder and cruelty.
The Emperor retaliated by murdering one of his own concubines and blaming it on Benoic assassins, using the incident as an excuse to launch a full-scale invasion. In just three days, the kingdom fell.
Lancelot and her mother Elaine fled to Britannia, only to face rejection and starvation. Near death by a lake, they were saved by the fairy Vivian, who took them to Avalon.
There, Lancelot trained in ancient fairy swordsmanship, mastering in ten years what most fairies take a lifetime to learn. When the time came, she returned to the Igrit Empire—and struck down the Emperor herself.
But revenge came with a price. With her mission complete, Lancelot found herself empty and without purpose—until her closest friend Mia stepped in.
“Wouldn’t life be a bit more fun if you tried dating?”
From fashion and makeup to romance novels (of the questionable kind), Mia gave Lancelot a whole new perspective on life... though she may have left out some important details.
Now, Lancelot explores life beyond the sword—while still remaining one of the deadliest warriors in all of Lost Sword.

While their in-game models have already been completed, full animation cutscenes for these special boutique outfits have unfortunately been delayed due to scheduling issues.

As the weather warms up, the game is also gearing up for summer-themed events and costumes!
First in line is a fresh new look for Christina— Swimsuit Costume.
With summer approaching, new themed events and costumes are also on the horizon.
Christina’s swimsuit costume is expected to arrive in late May, kicking off the seasonal updates.
Chapter 40 Story Voice Acting & Audio Updates
Voice acting for the story up to Chapter 40 is officially in progress! According to the latest update, the main voice actors have already aligned their schedules, and recordings are expected to wrap up sometime between May and June.
Interestingly, Ethan’s voice in Chapter 30 will be re-recorded to fix inconsistencies with his earlier appearances, which should help smooth out the experience for those following the story closely.
Gameplay Improvements: Star’s Reincarnation and More
Player feedback has been heard loud and clear, especially regarding the stress of equipping gear in Star’s Reincarnation. The development team is rolling out several improvements:
- April Update: Auto-equip for party gear and a button to unequip gear for all characters.
- May Update: Reducing Star’s Reincarnation from five chapters to three or fewer, while keeping the total rewards unchanged.
- Future Plans: A gear preset system to streamline equipping characters.
Additionally, quality-of-life updates include maintaining raid high scores until the boss changes, adding missing Lucy voice lines, fixing Tiamat’s battle start voice, and improving guild search functionality to show only recently active guilds.
Exciting New Content: Secret Cow Queen Dungeon
Prepare for the Secret Cow Queen Dungeon, a thrilling new addition accessible through the town NPC Karen using special currency.
Battle charming cowgirls and defeat the Cow Queen for a high chance at legendary gear.
This one-time clear dungeon shares the Stonehenge boss drop table but with boosted drop rates, and there’s a chance for a special effect that guarantees a high-quality, four-option legendary gear drop. Look for this in May!
New Lobby Guest: Lisa
A familiar face returns—this time in full glamour.,
Lisa, joins as a guest with her completed illustration. She’ll be added between the last update of May and the first update of June, bringing fresh interactions to the game.
Community and Events
While Lost Sword won’t participate in the May PlayX4 event, the collaborating voice acting agency, Lord of Voice, will host an autograph session featuring voice actors Min Seung-woo (Ethan), Jung Mi-sook (Merlin), and Kwon Sun-young (Lisa).
Cosplayers Habom (Morgana) and Roichi (Ethan) will also attend. Additionally, a collaboration café is in the works for the summer—stay tuned for details!
