Despite launching globally and recently arriving on OneStore, the developers behind Lost Sword continue to show strong commitment to their original player base.
From quality-of-life (QoL) improvements to fun new content, the upcoming update rolling out next week brings a wave of exciting changes. Let’s dive into what’s coming soon!
🐾 New Pets: Freeze & Burn Effects
Next week introduces two new pets, both tied to popular characters.
Merlin’s Pet
Christina’s Pet
👙 Summer Skins and Costume Adjustments
Christina is leading the way as the first character to receive a swimsuit skin, signaling the start of summer-themed cosmetics.
While the skin looks great, players should note that it doesn’t include a new ultimate animation cutscene.
In addition to this, Kay is receiving a costume modification for players who found her original outfit too revealing—this version will be available for just 1 Gold.
Similarly, following community feedback about Lancelot’s red lipstick clashing with her overall design, an alternate version without the lipstick will also be released, also for 1 Gold.
🌟 New Character Teaser: Dian
The developers also teased a new upcoming character: Dian. A short animation of her dancing and a glimpse at her ultimate cutscene have been shared, giving players a preview of her playful and stylish personality.
- Note: Dian will not be available in the next patch — stay tuned for her official release date!
🏆 Avatar Frames: PVP & Avalon Rewards
Players who enjoy PVP and Avalon modes will be happy to hear that avatar profile Frames—decorative frames are being added to reflect your in-game accomplishments.
For PVP, borders will be awarded based on your highest achieved rank, including King, Grandmaster, Master, Diamond, and Platinum.
In Avalon, additional borders will be unlocked based on which of the six castles you’ve attacked.
On top of that, Avalon’s current Red Boxreward will be updated with Goddess Equipment Box, offering new rewards that better reflect player effort.
New Floors and Story Stages
The World Tree is expanding again, with floors 31 through 40 being added in the next update.
Alongside that, new main story stages—Chapters 44 and 45—will become available.
These additions provide more content for high-level players looking to test their teams and continue progressing through the Story and Difficult content.
🎯 Pickup Banners and Event Dungeons
💬 Chat System Overhaul
✨ Party Management & Equipment Presets
Managing teams is about to get a lot easier. Awakened characters will now display a special glow effect in the party screen to make them easier to spot.
More importantly, equipment presets are coming in the June update.
This feature allows players to save full gear and card loadouts for each unit, making it much more efficient to switch build, especially helpful when preparing for tough stages like Reincarnation of Stars.
🎖️ Character-Specific Awakening Frames
Legendary characters will soon come with their own exclusive profile frames once they are awakened.
These character-specific frames are a stylish way to show off your progress and dedication, and the full collection is expected to be rolled out between June and July.
🍓 Mini-Game Teaser: Lost Fruits
The developers are also working on a new mini-game called Lost Fruits, which is expected to launch in June.
While details are still limited, it seems to be a lighthearted addition that will give players something new and fun to engage with outside of the main combat systems.

This patch is shaping up to be one of the most exciting updates yet for Lost Sword.
