Backstory
Once named heir to the Storm Clan of the Kesak, Kalma displayed remarkable brilliance from an early age. She mastered the clan’s treasured Storm Cell with ease, and all believed she was destined for greatness.
But when the Rift annihilated her people—leaving her the sole survivor—Kalma emerged on Earth with a new dream: not to be the Kesak’s greatest raider, but to become President of the Federation.
Now serving as a Vanguard under the Human God, she sees this as the perfect opportunity to rise as a political powerhouse. With unshakable ambition, she marches forward, determined to claim the presidency and lead the charge against the Rift.

Kalma is the newest 5-cost DPS in Horizon Walker and the first Electric character in the game.
Kalma’s kit revolves around her ability to gain extra actions and deliver guaranteed Weak Point attacks. Her rotation starts with Bolt Chaser to charge at enemies, deal Electric damage to all foes, and increase Magic Attack. This grants her an extra turn, and regardless of your positioning or next move, it guarantees a Weak Point attack on all enemies.
Next, use Lightning Cascade for an AoE attack that also has guaranteed Weak Point damage and applies Volt Marks on enemies. When her teammates attack marked targets, Kalma gains an attack boost. After this, use Bolt Chaser again to get another guaranteed Weak Point attack and extra action. Then, insert a basic attack to help build Charge stacks for her ultimate.
Once you’ve used Bolt Chaser a third time to reach 5 Charge stacks (and gain another extra action), unleash her ultimate Raging Thunderstorm — her highest source of damage — which deals guaranteed Weak Point damage in a small AoE. With her Signature Weapon, the AoE size increases by 1m, and enemies with Volt Marks suffer reduced Electric DEF, taking even more damage.
Additionally, her Critical Damage increases by 10% for every INT point above 6. At EX0, she has 10 INT, granting +40% Crit Damage for her ultimate. At EX1, she gains 11 INT (+50% Crit Damage), at EX4 she has 12 INT (+60%), and at EX6 she reaches 13 INT (+70%).
Kalma is a really solid carry, but her main weakness is that she’s very squishy and heavily relies on healers, shielders, or tanks to survive. Investing in survivability sub-stats can help, but it will slightly lower her DPS.
Best-in-Slot Stigmata:
The Jester Set is the best-in-slot choice for this build. 2 piece bonus provides a consistent 10% boost to Magic Attack power during combat, The true strength of the set lies in its 4 piece effect, which increases Skill Damage by 25% during your turn. In addition, basic attacks grant one stack of Jester’s Quip for two rounds, with each stack increasing both Skill Damage and Magic Attack by 5%, up to a maximum of two stacks.
As an alternative, The Eternal Battle set offers a similar two-piece bonus, also granting a 10% increase to Magic Attack power during combat. Its 4piece effect is if you successfully attack three or more enemies in a single strike which she can do it with her bolt chaser skill, your Magic Attack power is boosted by 35% for three rounds.
SS Jester Set or The Ship of Theseus – Beginner-friendly options. SS Jester Set is better since it has the same effect as the Ex set you only losing a little bit of the main stats.
Since Kalma gains a lot of Critical Damage from her kit, and she gets Magic Attack boost from the stigmatas that she needs. Focus on Crit Rate in sub-stats first, followed by Crit Damage and Magic Attack.
Recommended Sub Stats Priority: Crit Rate > Crit Damage = Magic Attack > Anything else.
Recommended Teams
Kalma's survivability is her main weakness. She deals excellent damage but requires a healer, tank, or shielder to stay alive and safely use her ultimate.

Skills

Bolt Slash
Launches an electrified sphere to attack. The sphere burrows into the targeted enemy before bursting outward in all directions. Deals Electric DMG equal to 80% of Magic ATK to the target, and Splash Electric DMG equal to 25% of Magic ATK to enemies within a 4m radius. The designated target cannot be hit with a standard Weakness Attack by this skill.

Charge Accumulation
When using a skill that is not Standby and not a Response skill, gain 1 stack of [Charge].
[Charge] a base effect used by the Electromancer's skills. Stacks up to 5 times.

Bolt Chaser
Dashes like lightning in the chosen direction. Charges 7m forward, dealing Electric DMG equal to 35% of Magic ATK to enemies within 3m along the path, and gains [Extra Action] once. After using this skill, Magic ATK increases by 47.5% for 1R, and any attack made this turn via [Extra Action] is treated as a Weak Point Attack. This skill is considered a Basic Skill and cannot deal Weak Point Attack on its own.
[Extra Action] After acting on your turn, gain 1 Extra Action. However, if no Active skills can be used with the remaining AP, the Extra Action is not granted.

Lightning Cascade
Emits a powerful current from your fingertips for a short time. Deals Electric DMG equal to 150% of Magic ATK to enemies within a 5m, 150° frontal cone, and inflicts [Volt Mark] for 1R on hit enemies. When an ally attacks an enemy with [Volt Mark], all ATK increases by 11% for 2R. While using this skill, ACC is temporarily increased by 100%.

Raging Thunderstorm
If you have 5 stacks of [Charge], consumes all stacks to use this skill. Summons a storm and strikes with a fierce bolt of lightning. Deals Electric DMG equal to 180% of Magic ATK to enemies within a 2.5m radius. Upon attack, temporarily increases Crit DMG by 10% for every INT exceeding 6, and if the target has [Volt Mark], reduces their Electric DEF by 620 until the end of the turn. This attack is treated as a Weak Point Attack, and temporarily increases ACC by 300%.

Flashbreak
When "Raging Thunderstorm" hits 2 or fewer enemies, temporarily increases Magic ATK by 18%. When using "Bolt Chaser" reduces the AP cost of "Lightning Cascade" and "Raging Thunderstorm" by 15 until the end of the turn.
Skills Priority
Kalma is a bit easier to build since all of her passives are already maxed. Your main priority should be leveling her Ultimate, as it is her biggest source of damage. With only a 1-round cooldown, the Ultimate can be used frequently since you need to get the 5 stacks and also wait for the cooldown, you should also invest in leveling her other skills and basic attacks. This ensures you have strong options to use during downtime while waiting for skill cooldowns to refresh.

Recommended Traits
Make sure to remove the Noticeable trait.Kalma is squishy and lacks any survivability skills, which makes her vulnerable in combat. This trait worsens the problem by increasing her aggro, causing enemies to target her more often and putting her at even greater risk.
